INSPECTOR'S TIP - Fire Safety

Ionization smoke detectors are required in all homes. Most fires are a slow burning smoldering type fire which these type do not detect as well. We recommend installing an Ionization/photo electric smoke detector.

These type detect fast burning high heat and also the slow burning smoldering type fires.

We also recommend Carbon monoxide detectors where any fossil fuel burning appliances are present. While not required, Carbon monoxide is an odorless, colorless, and tasteless gas that cause many avoidable deaths each year. A $25.00 investment could save the life of you or your loved one today.
